52 Week Challenge

For the next 52 weeks (1 year), 365 days, are you up for the challenge? Here at the Fellowship Church of Houston, for the complete year of 2008 we will be going through the books 1 & 2 Corinthians. I have entitled the series "The Troubled Triumphant Church." Actually, I "snagged" the title from Dr. Paige Patterson who is the President of my Alma mater Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Our 7 home Bible study groups throughout the city will be going through a complete breakdown of these books. I am excited to see how the apostle Paul exhorted and yet encouraged the church at Corinth. However, it doesn't end there. I have also challenged the church to memorize a Scripture a week through these two books. How about you? Are you up for a personal challenge as well? You don't have to be a member of FCOH to memorize Scripture, you are already (if saved) a part of the family of God. Therefore, I challenge you.
