Time Off!

The past month that I have been away from pastoral duties at the Fellowship Church of Houston where I am pastor, has been a time of refreshing, renewal and productivity. For the past few weeks I have been honored to meet with pastors, church planters and future leaders of our state as we discussed and brainstormed innovative and creative ways of church planting strategies. I want to personally thank pastor(s) Luis Rey from Origin Church in San Antonio; former church leader of Mosaic Church in California and current church strategist Jaime Puente; Victor Rodriguez of South San Church; Vince Gonzalez of North Dallas Family Church; George Ramirez of Living Springs Church San Antonio; Herbert Halbeisen of The Exchange Church San Antonio; Dr. Les Hollin of Trinity Baptist Church; Gilbert Chavez of Genesis Baptist in Austin; Dr. Rudy Gonzalez Dean of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in San Antonio,;Dr. John Mark Yeats professor at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth and Ricardo Silva church planter in Austin. Thank you men for your spiritual insights, challenges and innovative ideas of doing church!

I am coming back to Houston with a renewed perspective, "out of the box" ideas, and an excitement to duplicate and multiply the church! Time is of the essence as we create avenues and effective thoughts of leadership to better enhance the ministry of the body.
