Transitional Transformation

We at the Fellowship are launching out into "new" yet "old" territory. How you might ask? The Bible tells us in 1 John, that John tells the reader that he is giving him a new commandment that is actually an old commandment which was to "love your neighbor." Though that statement was made a few hundred years earlier, the reader of the Johannine letters (1,2,3 John) did not recognize such a statement before. In the same way, there are passages in the word of God that we really haven't read, and when we do, than the passage becomes "new" to us in that regard. Thus, for the next few Sunday's we are going to take biblical contrasts and put them together in biblical context and learn to grasp biblical doctrine. Especially the doctrine of the "church". Come by to FCOH as we unveil our next building of worship, the paradigm of the biblical church and the people that will impact their surrounding. My prayer is that you would biblically see "doing church" in a new yet old way.
