Since my last blog, my wife and I have been in much prayer as to the Lord's leading and direction in our lives, being that of Arena Football. As much as I so desired to attend the Dallas Desperado Free Agent tryout this weekend, I will not be attending after all. Being that our church is in "transition mode", I felt that submitting to my calling was more important than submitting to my dream. Everyone will have a dream one day or another. Yet, there is a difference between a dream and a vision. I have a vision for ministry and not necessarily for football. However, this does NOT mean that I am done with football and/or Arena Football altogether. I will possibly attend the Austin Wrangler free agent combine later this year. All in all, this has been a blast!

You have always been an example to me in ministry. To each one of us who at some point or another have been under your mentorship. This is just another example of what a true man of God you are. Thank you for always encouraging us, not only with your words but with your actions as well.
