F.A.M.I.L.Y. (Part 1)

One of my favorite Disney movies has got to be Lilo and Stitch. For those of you who have never seen the movie, it is a story about an alien (Stitch) who happened to crash his plane in Hawaii. Long story short, he was brought into the home of a little girl (Lilo) and made him part of her family. The whole just of this story was the constant theme of the Hawaiian word "Ohana" which means "Family." The word "Family" is such a personal word to many of us, due to the fact that there are some who have big families, some who have small families and sadly to mention some who have no family at all. Here at FCOH our desire is to "Build Stronger Families." What was at first a theme for the year, became our theme for life! So the big question is this; how do we build families to become stronger than they are now? For the whole month of September, I am doing a sermon series entitled, "It's All In The F.A.M.I.L.Y." I am discussing the 8 core values of FCOH using the acronym F.A.M.I.L.Y. I have already talked about F-Fellowship, A-Adoration (Worship & Prayer) and M-Ministry (Evangelism). We believe that here at the FCOH that we can be just "another church" to those who attend, or we can be Family. Come and join us as we break down our 8 core values and the purpose of "Building Stronger Families."
