I was studying Colossians chapter 1 today and came across a Scripture that I have read many of times, yet as I read it today, it struck me between the eyes and gave me a renewed focus as an under-shepherd. Colossians 1:28 reads, "We proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete in Christ".
Wow, what an awesome challenge and responsibility. We as teachers and preachers must tremble and feel a sense of awe when given the task to admonish, teach and present every man complete in Christ. Anyone up for the challenge?
