It seems like only yesterday when I was sitting in the back pew of the Sagemont Mission Center with my Associate Pastor David Rodriguez, as we discussed what it would be like for a "small" congregation like ours to meet in a church building like this. It all started with the need to use a baptistery and turned out we have been using it for 5 years! Now, this Sunday July 27, 2008 is our final service in that building. To me it is a "bitter-sweet" time as we transition out of a contemporary church building and make a move to a middle school. Some have asked me as to why we are making such a move. Well as a congregation, we have decided to invest in building the church and not into the church building! Get it? We want to make a difference by focusing on people and not on pews or programs. With that said, I do want to invite you this Sunday for our final service on Fuqua. See You There!
