As you may have noticed, the date on the title is about 16 years off. Well, there is obviously a reason why I put that date as the title. 16 years ago today I was sitting in the back row at a singles church camp in Leakey,TX (Alto Frio). It was in that evenings service when the Lord got a hold of me and I could do nothing else but surrender to His lordship. It was also that night that I surrendered to the ministry to be an evangelist and today the senior pastor of the Fellowship Church of Houston. I cannot help but to tear up as I type on my laptop as I look back and remember 16 years of God's undeniable grace and mercy that He had on this pastor's kid from San Antonio,TX. For 16 years I have never preached anything else but Jesus and Him crucified, buried and risen from the grave! What an honor and yet humbling position to be a vessel that the Lord chooses to use for His glory. Every August 13th, I am reminded of how truly worthless I am without Him, for only He receives all the honor, glory, power, praise and majesty! Thank you Lord for this awesome privilege to preach what men have died for-the Gospel!
